Multivariable Ripple-Free Deadbeat Control

چکیده
The design of multivariable ripple-free deadbeat controllers is a complex task. One approach which has shown promise for solving multivariable ripple-free deadbeat control (MRFDC) problems is the use of Diophantine equation parameters. The problem of solving robust multivariable ripple free deadbeat with time delays has not been solved. This paper proposes a hybrid two degree of freedom controller utilizing the parameterization of Diophantine equation to build a multivariable ripple-free deadbeat control (MRFDC). The important feature of the proposed approach is that it combines the concept of multivariable input with robust ripplefree deadbeat control. Simulation results show that the output signal tracks the input sinusoidal signal in short settling time.

Two objective optimal multivariable ripple-free deadbeat control
This paper presents novel results on optimal multivariable deadbeat control. Given a discrete-time, stable, linear and time invariant plant model, we give a simple parameterisation of all stabilising ripple-free deadbeat controllers of a given order. The free parameter is then optimised in the sense that a quadratic index is kept minimal. The optimality criterion has the advantage of accounting...

This paper deals with the design ripple-free deadbeat controllers for sampled-data systems. Given a prescribed settling time, the design problem is tackled by computing a ripple-free deadbeat controller that optimizes an H2 performance criterion. This criterion accounts for the quality of the tracking response and for the control energy necessary to achieve the deadbeat behavior. Our main resul...

In this paper, an state-space approach to deadbeat servomechanism design is proposed using multirate input control. This paper focuses advantage of multirate control over conventional single-rate control. To achieve settling time specified, multirate controllers require less frequent sampling of measurement than single-rate ones. Multirate input mechanism can yield shorter settling time than si...

A new method of designing observer-based deadbeat controllers for linear multivariable systems is presented. The design procedure consists in solving a linear equation in polynomial matrices and yields the entire controller, including the observer plus state feedback, in a single step. The resulting algorithm is remarkably simple, efficient, and leads to an economical realization of the control...

The problem of tracking a reference vector variable from a given class is considered for discrete-time linear multi-input-output plants. The plant and the reference are both described by an input/output relation and the objective is to track exactly in a minimum number of steps. The optimal control law is shown to contain both feedback and feedforward terms and it is obtained by solving only th...
